Taxi pick up and drop offs were great and the ride was amazing, we set off just before sunrise and watched the sun emerge over the mountains as we were in the air. Our pilot Remi made us feel safe and relaxed on our first ever hot air balloon experience. He was very funny and told us all about the history of hot air balloons! I am the Chief Pilot and Head of Air Operations at Moroccan Sky Ballooning. As Vice-president of the Moroccan hot air balloon association, I represented Morocco and the Arab world at the Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons meeting in France, witnessing the participation of 500 hot air balloons. With over 2,500 flights under my belt, I have also taken part in the French championship, and proudly hold the title of being the First Hot Air Balloon Examiner and Instructor. My journey in hot air ballooning is intertwined with the rich history of Moroccan aviation, and I continue to look forward to further adventures and achievements in this exhilarating field.
